Tomorrow marks the 11th anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks on the United States.
On September 11th, 2001, the attacks on the World Trade Center Towers in New York City, and their subsequent collapse, as well as the attack on the Pentagon and another hijacked plane which crashed in Pennsylvania, resulted in the death of nearly 3,000 people.
We remember ALL the lives lost during the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Hamden Professional Firefighters Local 2687 would like to express special remembrance of the 343 members of the Fire Department of New York who were lost during the attack on the World Trade Center. We also remember the numerous F.D.N.Y members and other rescue workers who have been forced to retire or that have been lost from illnesses contracted during the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center.
